Andreas is OMNIA's managing partner. He has supported energy market reforms and transition projects in the EU and its neighbouring countries for more than 15 years. He has previously held different positions in both the electricity industry and government bodies. Amongst other projects, he helped develop the EU Network Codes, created various reform-target models, and assisted in the implementation of different national and regional electricity-market-integration projects. He is a political economist, mediator, and author of various academic articles on energy policy.

Kai is a founding partner at OMNIA. He has supported energy market reform design and implementation in Eastern Europe and the Caucasus region. He has also designed tariff models and drafted market studies relating to natural gas-infrastructure projects. He holds a PhD in applied econometrics, with a focus on macroeconomic financial risk-mitigation.
Kai has gained over a decade’s worth of experience in the energy industry, including work in academic positions relating to energy, as well as five years as the Lead Economist for Global Gas Markets at BP.

Tobias is a founding partner at OMNIA with extensive expertise in European energy policy coordination, reform governance, and stakeholder communication. He has played a pivotal role in supporting energy reform and integration processes, particularly in South-East Europe, aiding Energy Community members and EU candidate countries in aligning with European regulations. Tobias has also contributed to international energy markets, PBL operations, and funding applications for regions including sub-Saharan Africa and Indonesia. Holding an LL.M. in European Commercial Law and a PhD in environmental and energy law, Tobias specialises in regulatory approaches and advancing green and just energy transitions.

Maka is an Energy Advisor at OMNIA with over 15 years of extensive experience in the energy sector. She was involved in the management of many large-scale infrastructure projects funded by IFIs and implemented by the Georgian transmission system operator. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and has led key initiatives, including central electricity market development projects within the Georgian TSO. She holds a bachelor’s degree in law and an executive MBA in general management.

Sören is an Energy Advisor at OMNIA with 5+ years of experience in the energy industry. As a project manager, he turns complex challenges into streamlined solutions. Whether it's building balancing markets in Eastern Europe, integrating HVDC interconnectors in the European Union, or spearheading early-stage BESS developments, Sören combines technical know-how with a big-picture mindset. As a hands-on project manager with a passion for innovation, he thrives on making energy systems smarter, more connected, and future-ready.

Petar is an Energy Adviser at OMNIA with 20 years of experience, specialising in energy policy, regulatory compliance, EU integration and international relations. He has held key roles in government and consultancy, driving reforms, including the design and monitoring of policy-based lending schemes, leading capacity-building projects, and supporting business development and the private sector, with a focus on accelerating transition to sustainable low-carbon energy. Having lived and worked in various countries, Petar has broad experience engaging with diverse international stakeholders in multicultural environments. He holds a master’s degree in European Political Economy from LSE.

Gilbert is Manager at OMNIA. He has more than 10 years of professional experience in the electricity TSO business, having held different positions both within an EU TSO as well as senior roles in European market development consortia. He helped implement large-scale European market integration programmes, as well as advance electricity market design in Europe. He is also experienced in stakeholder and programme management, and has led multiple consulting projects helping clients understand and implement EU electricity regulation. Gilbert holds an MSc degree in chemistry and process engineering as well as a post-graduate MSc degree in international relations and environmental technology.

Mikheil is a Manager at OMNIA with 25 years of experience in the power sector in Georgia and the Caucasus region. He has held expert and senior management positions, contributing significantly to sector planning, market operations, regional cooperation, renewable energy initiatives, and bilateral and cross-border electricity trade. Mikheil has played a key role in power sector reforms in Georgia, leading projects such as the implementation of the Balancing Market and Wholesale Public Services.

Irakli is an Energy Advisor at OMNIA and a certified Project Manager (PMP) with over 10 years of expertise in European law and energy transition. He has supported donor-funded projects on EU acquis approximation and climate governance in Southeast Europe. With extensive experience in cross-border project management and consultancy for IFIs, he has earned several academic scholarships and regularly contributes to peer-reviewed publications. Irakli holds an LL.M. in International and European Public Law from Erasmus University Rotterdam and a Ph.D. in Energy Law, reflecting his strong academic and professional dedication to sustainable energy development.

Liliya is OMNIA's back office support and works with management on administration and accounting. She has gathered lots of experience as a financial accountant in the last years and an in-depth understanding of business bookkeeping procedures. Besides that, she worked also as an office manager and took responsibility in maintaining office services by organising office operations and procedures, preparing payroll, controlling correspondence and monitoring clerical functions. Liliya speaks German, English and Ukrainian.

Tinatin is an Energy Advisor at OMNIA. She has been actively engaged in the reform of Georgia's energy sector, specifically focusing on energy efficiency in alignment with European legislation and best practices. She has held various positions in both the private and civil society sectors. Tinatin holds a Master's degree in Energy Security Studies, concentrating on energy efficiency, renewable energy, the EU’s external energy policy and international relations. She possesses valuable experience as a researcher, consultant and practitioner in this field.

Burhan is an Energy Advisor at OMNIA. He has 25 years' experience in the public sector, specialising in primary legislation, the domestication of international law, and foreign trade policy, with a particular emphasis on import regulations. His background demonstrates a holistic, coordinative and regulatory skillset, refined by advising upper-level decision-makers. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Ankara University and a master’s degree in European Political Economy from the LSE.
