Georgia's power system is predominantly renewable, with an installed generation capacity of 4,715 MW and renewables contributing an impressive 75% (3,534 MW). Hydropower is the most significant component of this clean energy portfolio, underscoring the country's inherent strengths in sustainable electricity generation. Within the renewable energy sector, hydropower is the largest contributor, with a total capacity of 3,446 MW, representing 73.1% of the overall capacity.
